Work, work, work

I have been working everyday since the storm come through. That makes four Sundays in a row. That is why there are more pictures than written posts lately. Ole hurricane Ike sure did some damage in this area. The plant that I have been spending my weekends at got waist deep water in the front and even more water towards the back of the plant; where the river is closer. There is unbelievable amounts of electrical switchgear that went under water. Some of the facilities may not come back on line while others are selecting certain units that will be moth-balled. Can you imagine replacing all the sheetrock in the city? Unbelievable. I heard all but 14 houses were flooded to some extent in Bridge City. Some may have got 4 inches while others got 8 feet. I may complain about all the work we are getting but I would rather be swamped with work than have to go through all that. I don’t believe I will ever live near the water. It just isn’t worth it.
